Bucharest Graphic Days in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Bucharest will exhibit the winning titles of the most prestigious book design competition in Germany – the 2021, 2022 editions, between October 1-15 in the Goethe-Institut Bucharest Library

The Buchkunst Foundation, the institution that has been organizing this competition for over 50 years, aims to promote excellence in book design through three competitions: „The most beautiful German books”, „Award for encouraging young book designers” and „Book Design from all over the World”. The results of these competitions set the benchmarks for future trends in book design, with the role of encouraging and supporting products that demonstrate exceptional graphic design and execution.

The competition „The most beautiful German books” has 5 categories professionals can enter: Literature, Science books/ Specialty books/ School textbooks, Guides, Art books/ photography/ exhibition catalogs and Books for children and youth. 5 winners are named in each of these categories.

In the exhibition at the Goethe-Institut Bucharest, the public will be able to admire and browse the titles awarded in this competition, in 2021 and 2022.
