Ograda Type Company is a digital foundry and design studio located in a quiet village at the foot of the Bucegi Mountains, where the dog runs to the sheepfold, the grandmothers make bread and talk, the neighbors — moonshine, and I make letters.
I graduated from the hotel business, into print production about 12 years ago, shortly after I went into advertising, traveling and
some gardening, all while learning about graphic design, lettering, calligraphy & type design.
Type is something that has been a constant part of my life, so the natural course of opening a foundry seemed obvious after some 6 years in the industry. Thank you for being a part of this.
